About Me

Don E. Anderson

I have been involved in the livestock industry for the past 40 years and have trained multiple dogs for personal use and those owned by other individuals.  I have bred and raised several litters of retrieving breed dogs and have trained a high-quality pointing dog as my daily companion and hunting partner.

My philosophy is to allow dogs to be the best they can be without aggressive training techniques.  I believe in rewarding dogs when they achieve the requested actions without implementing the use of restraints or forceful techniques.  I do not believe in rewarding dogs with treats when physical touch and verbal praise will suffice.

When you and your dog enroll in one of my classes, I am committed to you in helping him/her become an enjoyable member of your family.  Within the confines of the class setting, I will do whatever it takes to achieve this, and it will never cost you anything additional.

I look forward to the opportunity to work in conjunction with dog owners to achieve their training goals and to help encourage their dogs to be respectful members of their families.  Together we will allow your Good Dogs to become Great Dogs!
